Real fit, honestly scored. This one would have cost you an evening — the JD wants 5+ yrs fintech compliance you don’t have, and the posting shows re-post patterns.

Three steps. No busywork.

Set up once, then every job description becomes a 30-second decision instead of a three-hour gamble.

1

Paste your CV once

Plain text or markdown. It becomes the only source of truth the engine is allowed to use.

2

Paste any job description

Usually 30–90 seconds later (thorough postings can take up to 2–3 minutes): a rubric-based 0–5 fit score, your gaps, your angle, red flags, and a posting-legitimacy read.

Apply only when it's worth it

For the good ones, generate a tailored CV and cover letter — built strictly from your real experience.

Everything the hunt needs. Nothing that wastes it.

Score before you apply

A rubric-based 0–5 fit score against your real CV, with the exact gaps and how to handle them.

Tailor without lying

The rule is reformulate, don't fabricate — enforced by a check that runs on the finished text, not just asked of the model. Numbers, employers, tools and certifications are matched back to your CV; what can't be matched is flagged for you or the draft is refused and rewritten.

Cover letters that pass the sniff test

350–420 words, real metrics from your CV, a banned-buzzword filter, and a self-check that kills generic sentences.

One tracker for the whole hunt

Every evaluation lands in your pipeline: Evaluated, Applied, Interview, Offer. Nothing falls through the cracks.

Ghost-job radar

Vague scope, contradictory requirements, boilerplate ratios — flagged before you waste an evening.

Outreach kit, not a cold apply

Who to contact, a tailored email, and a call script — grounded in your real CV, ready the moment a job is worth pursuing.

Optional local companion

A free, open-source companion runs on your own machine for LinkedIn workflows. Nothing automated in the cloud.

Built as the antidote

Most job tools make money when you apply more. Their match scores flatter you, their billing is weekly, and their AI stuffs keywords. JobVerdict is engineered the other way around.

Fair questions

Will it really tell me a job is a bad fit?+

Yes — that's the point. Anything under 4.0/5 leads with “don't apply, here's why”, and the generation tools sit behind an explicit override rather than in front of you. Inflated match scores waste your evenings. And because it says no, you can trust it when it says yes.

Does it invent experience to beat ATS filters?+

That's what it's built to prevent, and it's checked rather than promised. The rule in every prompt is reformulate, don't fabricate — and it's enforced after generation, not just asked for: numbers, employers, tools, certifications and authorship claims are matched back to your CV. A number is matched to its subject, not just to the digits, so a figure from one part of your CV can't be reused to support a different claim. Anything unmatched is either marked for you to verify or the draft is refused and regenerated. It's a strong check, not a mathematical guarantee — you're still the last person to read anything before it goes out.

Does it auto-apply to jobs for me?+

No. Mass auto-applying is how you end up in recruiter spam folders. JobVerdict preps everything to ready-to-send; you review and you click Submit.

What happens to my CV?+

It's used only to run your evaluations, never used to train anything, and you can export or permanently delete everything from your account page in one click.

Where does the engine come from?+

JobVerdict is built on career-ops, an open-source (MIT) job-search pipeline whose scoring rubric was battle-tested by its creator across 740+ real evaluations on the way to a Head of Applied AI offer. We turned that engine into something you can use in a browser.
